BENCHMADE

BRODY PIGEAU

Overview

For the launch of its first-ever Water Collection, Benchmade turned to Kota as its production partner to bring the campaign to life at scale. This was more than a product release—it was a defining moment for the brand, expanding into a new category with global reach. Kota was entrusted to help carry that vision from concept to screen, collaborating closely with Benchmade’s internal creative team to develop, produce, and post a series of films that highlighted real people who live and work on the water.

Shot across the U.S. and internationally, the campaign captured rugged coastlines, remote communities, and the environments these knives were built for. Central to the series was the story of Captain Brody Pigeau, a fishing guide in Tofino, BC, whose film became the emotional cornerstone of the launch. The result was a powerful, story-driven campaign that helped redefine what Benchmade stands for—and showcased Kota’s ability to lead complex, high-impact productions with purpose and precision.
